Brussels. Beautiful Brussels. And two lovely, no-nonsense people.

They were so caring and so open and I loved every second of this day.
Elise & Daan had their preparations in their charming, calm home. Just the two of them and their cat. When you looked out of the window you could see the atomium in the distance, which kept on reminding me I was photographing in the centre of busy Brussels. It was somewhat magical. When we arrived at the city Hall the sun was shining. There were happy tourists everywhere that wanted a selfie with the bride, which lead to some hilarious moments. After that we all left for the most peaceful and quiet venue in Geetbets.
They had a DIY-kinda wedding and I adored how there were little details everywhere that I didn’t even saw at first and they invited such a nice live band for their reception by the lake. They transformed the place into an intimate location with large tables for a very delicious barbecue. Even some sudden rain (followed by a nice rainbow though) couldn’t ruin that moment. And maybe one of the highlights of the day was a ceremony in the dark at midnight. The tree was lit up perfectly by a thousand little lamps – it was pretty magical.

This was it. And is was amazing. Take a look.
